Collocation in using English
One of the most difficult things to learn English of students who are in non-speaking English countries is how to use collocation correctly. Have you ever thought that why some your writing essays are correct in grammar but it is not appreciated or why you can not speak English as native speakers ? The question seems to be simple, because you do not use collocation fluently like them. What is collocation? A collocation is two or more words that often go together. These combinations just sound “right” to native English speakers, who use them all the time. On the other hand, other combinations may be unnatural and just sound “wrong”.
